Google Play’s GDC Event was hosted at 969MarketVenue @TheVillage in collaboration with MAS Event + Design. As guests checked in, they enjoyed live graffiti artwork mapped on the exterior of the building, featuring Google Play’s most popular gaming characters. The main level housed two of the hottest DJ’s, A-Trak and Baauer, along with LED balloons, neon glow tape, a customized Google Play bar, and gaming lounges. On the lower level, guests found virtual reality booths that highlighted the newest apps, and inside the basement a giant rotating beanbag sat on the venue’s car turntable so guests could look up at a projection mapped sky full of stars.
